Ranges With Ball-Tracking Technology in Los Angeles, CA
4 of the 22 driving ranges we list in Los Angeles have ball-tracking or launch monitors. Hitting into an empty field tells you very little beyond how it felt. These ranges run tracking — Toptracer, TrackMan, Foresight, SkyTrak or a bay-mounted launch monitor — so every shot comes back with carry, spin and dispersion. It changes what a practice session is for: instead of a bucket of swings you get a number to move.

Good to know
What is the difference between Toptracer and TrackMan?
Toptracer is camera-based and built into range bays for entertainment and practice, with games and shot shapes on a screen. TrackMan and Foresight are radar or camera units used for fitting and lessons, where the priority is precise club and ball data rather than games.
Is a tracked bay worth the extra cost?
For working on distance control, yes — carry numbers for each club are the whole point. For a casual bucket with friends the games are the draw, and a standard bay does the job for less.
Can I use my own launch monitor at a driving range?
Usually yes at outdoor ranges, as long as it does not block the bay beside you. Indoor venues often say no, because their own system is already calibrated to the screen and net.
