A range built for after-dark practice is a different experience than one that shuts down at sunset, but the 'hours' on a map listing rarely say whether the lights actually come on — we checked each range's own site or posted schedule to confirm which ones are truly lighted. Check the actual lighted hours, not just "open late." Many ranges only light part of the tee line, and the lights often click on at dusk and shut off earlier on weeknights than on weekends — a quick call confirms whether the back rows stay dark.
